I've seen zero evidence the ACC is trying to be another Ivy League.

Not that that's really even possible...the Ivy League is unique in that those schools were the Ivies for academic reasons before the athletics league was created. The ACC exists for athletics. Trying to make it about academics is at best ineffective and at worst counter-productive.
