Liberty would surely be a competitive nemesis to the Hogs. The Razorbacks got Hugh Freeze the old Liberty head coach back in the SEC. Of course Freeze had the credentials of being an old Arkansas State coach, an Auburn must these days, their last three head football coaches previously coached at Arkansas State. Freeze getting fired at Ole Miss due to getting them hand slapped by the NCAA also didn't bother Auburn a bit. Cheating is now legal and Freeze could have always cheated at Auburn anyway. Of course I was upset about the Liberty home loss in Fayetteville. I got on YouTube Razorback boards declaring how Pittman was Bielema reincarnated now with home losses to G5 schools now getting back to normal. Saying he team obviously quitting on Pittman just like with Bielema. I was not alone in Razorback fandome expressing that exact sentiment. However those comments got removed by the moderators. You cannot publicly bash a Razorback coach anymore until it is a large majority thing. Arkansas & Texas A&M had far more football players enter that transfer portal than any other SEC Schools. Pittman got a lot from the portal and hired a lot of new black assistant coaches. Are the problems cured? I doubt it but we shall see. Those coaches drawing $7 MM yearly and are now above being bashed. Just like the politicians.
