This, I agree with. I find it interesting that the "P2" actually include

the B12 and ACC in their discussions. It seems they need the the other schools to be involved, otherwise, they would not be in the discussions. A break away of the P2, without the B12 and ACC would be my preference. What made the NFL so great (besides good football), is that when television first came on the scene, it didn't amount to a whole lot of money - and no one could predict how valuable those contracts would become. So they agreed to share the revenue equally. Can you imagine if the Cowboys or Giants could negotiate their media deals separately from Green Bay or Buffalo? Revenue sharing and anti trust is what makes the NFL a great business model. Add in the tweaks to gain parity, and allow the weak teams to draft first, and you have a winner. The NCAA tournament distributes (shares) the revenue to the 28 conferences mentioned. It appears that the P2 (ACC & 12?) are uninterested in sharing their revenue, and that would be key to get any anti trust legislation which is the other huge advantage the NFL enjoys with their business model.

Sad thing is a good majority of the P2 fans don't want this either.

I don't blame the NCAA - they only have the power the schools vest in them.
