It coincidentally is that way in the Premier League, but it doesn't have to be that way unless you want to do 18 games, which I doubt anyone does. The way it makes it sound in the article is that the G5 teams would have their own "league", but 10 teams would rotate in somehow (or at least have relegation and promotion of SOME teams in it each year. In other words, maybe only 4 teams get relegated instead of all 10. But it is unclear. The big problem to me is that within each 10-team division is that some teams will have 5 home and 4 away, while others have 4 and 5. An easy way to fix that is to just do divisions with an odd number of teams in it. 11 teams perhaps. Assuming they stay at 12 regular season games, that would give schools 5 home, 5 away, 2 OOC. I am also assuming that all division winners would make the playoffs, with a bunch of at-large bids.
