Agree, but does it really matter?

I don't imagine there will EVER be year when the expanded B10 and expanded SEC don't both have two teams in the top 12 (or top 11 if the P5 rep isn't top 12). So if they codify it and given them the auto-4 bids, or if they just earn 4 bids every year... no big difference IMO.
