This year the "debate" may end up being which teams deserve an at-large

bid; 1 or 2-loss Big Ten team vs. 3-loss SEC team. I think it rubs some people the wrong way that the ACC and/or Big XII may not be included in the discussion which triggered the debate below. Given the way the wind appears to be blowing right now, the next FBS Playoff contract in 2 years could be very interesting to see what ends up being the final agreement. It may even be eye-opening to a lot of people if the wording suggests/implies that the ACC and Big XII are no longer considered to be a "power conference."
