There are over 1700 San Jose’s in the world. Rounding out the top five are San Antonio, Santa Maria, Santa Rosa and San Pedro. The entire top 10 are Spanish in origin, demonstrating how vast the Spanish empire once was. The largest San Jose is in California, with almost 1 million inhabitants. The second largest San Jose is the capital of Costa Rica.
