40 years ago. Pair of A-6s would fly over every other minute doing 0.01 Mach on approach to Oceana... good Lord! Couldn't hear yourself think over there!

nothing like having fighter jets buzz your house every 20-30 minutes. I am sure you get that from Oceana frequently as well. One of my favorite things about visiting my mother-in-law is that those sounds bring me back to my childhood. And watching every 9 year old on the baseball field drop their glove and remove their hat when Reveille played during practice or a game. Good times.
