$175,000 seems like an insane amount of cash to be in a single machine. It also doesn't jibe with the number of ATM's I've visited in my lifetime that have been empty when I need them.

Since it is Fairfax County the crooks might be able to turn themselves in and get a cash reward than flee the country since they probably will not get prosecuted.

Won't be long before my FIL can't handle the household in our house in PA, so looks like we may be making the full time move soon and never looking back.
