Gonna be a long 3 nights/days for me. Daughter is having an at home EEG
In an attempt to determine the type and length and amount of seizure activity she is having a 72hr EEG done. They set it up here at the house because she has a horrible time in hospitals.
Not a fun time when she hates things touching her head. It took over an hour to get all the leads on. Tears and screaming to the point of vomiting. She's better now and hasn't paid attention to them. We just have to keep them on without her pulling them off for the next 3 days.

It was 24 hours with no sleep. We rotated shifts trying to keep her awake. Worst part was the 90 minute drive back to the hospital. We had her share a bed with her older sister Kimmie so she could wake us when Kelsey had seizures. She was on multiple meds, we had to change them annually as she grew. Her seizures stopped when she reached puberty at age nine. Twenty seizures-free years later she is a beautiful, healthy woman about to get married. Prayer works & we will keep your daughter in ours.

...and the doctor will get good data from this process. Hang in there...I know how agonizing it is to see your child in discomfort.
