Calling present and past Richmond Loungers with good memories
Looking for help on a 1977 concert at The Mosque (Altria Theater). One was Sanford Townsend Band, Pablo Cruise, and Firefall. The other was Atlanta Rhythm Section, Outlaws, and an opening band I can't recall. Can anyone tell me that band's name? I've checked on-line and band concert lists don't even show them being in Richmond. I've researched 1976, 77 and 78.
Lounge answers are, as always, welcome even if less helpful than a head cold.

Opened with "Smoke from a Distant Fire" and was with Firefall, the headliner. Almost 50 years, so....

quick search (see link) shows that Sanford & Townsend Band were at other locations with them on that tour. A band called Charlie was apparently with them at The Mosque.
Yes, this falls under the "less than helpful" headline, but it gave me the opportunity to reminisce.
