the article mentioned when the need to replace the batteries arises (believe it is around every hundred thou or so), it will be minimum $15k. And I think I read elsewhere the lithium makes the batteries non recyclable. I feel Jay Leno looking at someone and tapping his temple going âsmart, very smart.â

Tesla has data after 200K miles, average range loss is about 7%. Depends on a number of factors to include super charging etc., but that is not too shabby if you factor in that is 13 years of driving at 15K miles per year.

would have more stress, wear and tear, etc. given they would be towing trailers for work, campers, boats, etc. not to mention hauling rocks, building materials, etc. Not sure that's an apples to apples comparison with a Tesla sedan that goes from point A to point B with its passengers.
