My Rivalry Weekend Wish List .....
1 - Hokies put together a complete game and demolish the Hoos, grab a whatever.com bowl bid
2 - Yellow Jackets sting the Dawgs
3 - Auburn gives Alabama its 4th L
4 - Shane clobbers Clemson. Not an SEC Fan, but don't mind rooting for SC & Beamer
5 - Texas A&M whacks Texas - Just like seeing SEC turmoil
6 - Vandy beats Tennessee - Same as above
7 - Finally ... Lady Hokies Soccer Tops Duke to make the final 4 !!!
That should do, what say you?

I think Georgia rolls. GT getting a lot of credit for doing to Miami what VT and Cal should have done. Not sold on what I think is a middling ACC team hanging with Georgia.

Beck will throw at least 2 INT to GT secondary
GT held Miami to 23 points and Miami’s offense is better than UGA.
Miami’s D isn’t close to as good as UGA’s but their offense is better

I thought GT was so good and Georgia was down. As usual, the wise guys are on it. I'll stand by my comment. Georgia rolls.

Don't think UGA will overlook them this year.

So that even if they have a bunch of 3 loss schools get in, their contenders have to travel north for the first round.
My "stars align" guide:
GT over UGa for the Dawgs' 3rd loss.
Texas over A&M knocks the Aggies out with 4 losses.
Texas over UGa in the SECCG.
Auburn over Bama knocks the Tide out with 4 losses.
Miss State over Ole Miss for the Rebels' 4th L.
Vandy over Tenn. The Vols would likely be in the last SEC spot with 3 loses.
Clemson over USC. 4th lose for the Cocks and gives Clemson a playoff spot - likely hosting a game.
SMU over Cal
Miami over Cuse. Then SMU over Miami. If everything happens above the SEC, there is a chance Miami stays in the fold.
Iowa State over KState
Arizona over ASU. Then Iowa State over BYU next weekend.
Purdue over Indiana
Michigan over OSU - better chance of me winning PowerBall.
USC over ND.
Oregon State over Boise State likely knocks the Broncos out if Tulane and UNLV win, and win again in their CCG. That G5 spot could have an unranked team as their rep if Boise drops two games in a row. Would Army eek back in with the AAC championship?
That would put my conference champs byes at:
#1 OSU
#2 Texas
#3 SMU
#4 Iowa State
and the rest of the field.
#12 Tulane at #5 Penn State
# 11 UGa at #6 Orgeon
#10 Tennessee at #7 Clemson
#9 ND at #8 Miami
I'm sure I'm missing something here, beside that 4 SEC schools will find a way in.

0 chance they make the playoff, and they shouldn’t.

All proper Hokies should cheer for anyone playing baby Beamer, since he has become the sworn enemy of VT.

can put 3 schools in the CFP.
If Clemson, SMU and Miami win this weekend and SMU beats Miami in the ACCCG, we should get 3 in the CFP.

There's not a chance in heck the ACC gets three teams into the playoff. The 12-team playoff was set up to funnel more money into the P2 conferences, thus their "guaranteed" slots.
The ACC and B12 are standing on the outside looking in...

teams with 3 conference losses as possible, so I want Texas to beat aTm and then beat UGA in the SECCG. And then I want to see the "playoff committee" twist themselves into pretzels justifying 3-loss teams getting into the "playoff"
GT beating UGA would be nice to see also - it happens about once in a decade lately and it's about time for it again.

old eye test. This new CFP is going to be awful, IMO. I can't wait to see the TV ratings when they go up against the NFL--LOL.

USC over Notre Dame.
Agree on all of yours but am rooting for Clemson. Not a SCar hater. Just prefer the Tigers.
