Whit tried to be the smartest guy in the room hiring Pry. We know Whit is a football idiot and seeing the results now. Rich Rod would have put this roster on its head - brought a record of winning with him - with the exception of Michigan and the way he was treated up there - Jesus himself might have had a hard time winning games. I think Whit missed the boat. RR has crapped out more football knowledge than the entirety of our existing football staff.

In part, that evolution and us getting our arse kicked in 2003, had Bud Foster revamp in preparation for 2004, which kicked off a very fun ACC run for the next 7 years or so... Then again, Fuente played an interesting role in college football offensive evolution as a TCU OC and that didn't exactly work out for us...
