I hope SEC fans here realized that Ohio State Broke Georgia all but won.
Ohio State had the game won, taking Georgia's best shot.
Questions on forum of should we be surprised ohio stayed with Georgia?
Essentially they faced Georgia, led nearly the ENTIRE game,
lost the lead with 2:48 to go in the fourth, and came back to win game with a makeable field goal.
and missed.
Simply put, Ohio state was the better team for about 55 minutes of a 60 minute game, and missed a field goal that would have shut up every ESecpn announcer and SEC bandwagon fan in America.
And Michigan Beat that Ohio State team, and TCU beat THAT Michigan team.
And then TCU with FAR less depth, and missing their Star Running Back, had to face Georgia, after
facing arguably the most physical team of 2023.
Georgia was LUCKY to win the championship this year.
They were all shaking like little frightened mice on the sideline, when Ohio State's Kick went up.
That said, we have a long ways to go, but as TCU shows, it can still happen!!
Bring on the new Playoffs!
Go Hokies

UGa won. It's 60 minutes not 55.
As much as UGa looked like the inferior team they were able to over come that.
OSU wasn't able to hold them off.
Says more about Georgia than Ohio State.

Similar to Dobbins vs Clemson a few years back.

They took their superiority for granted against OSU and should have lost the game.. and they knew it. TCU paid the price!
The results could have been nearly the same had the order of the games been reversed

'Luck' is when 'cruit'n + hard work meets opportunity...
underlying, there is still some parity left in college football.

but they are a great team. You can't let them back into the game if you're Ohio State. Injuries to key players were killers, but at the same time, the D needs to make a play. It was a classic game, regardless.

until we were NOT..
I get what people are saying, and I am no UGA or SEC lover, but the scoreboard doesn't lie...nor does it CHANGE.

But there was nothing similar to UGa or OSU this year
