a decent defensive guard to stick on and wear out a scorer without worrying that he might accumulate some fouls doing so.

that was his "dream school" Of course cheat almost lost to Clemson tonight so 1 minute was probably generous.

What amount of NIL is required by the NCAA?
He was offered a large amount to go to High Point, UNC offered him less to come there. Not zero...not a tiny amount...less

The 6'9 guard shooting 33% from 3 and Top 10 in the ACC in assists?
Neo Avdalas?

10 just puts you in the top half. In 17 ACC games he is shooting 40% from 2 pt. and 29% from 3 pt. 65% FT. 11pts/game. Not that impressive. If his height is that valuable then it should be reflected in his stats. Few blocks and only 3 reb/game. Those are not the stats of an NBA first round draft pick. He is a jack of many trades but a master of none. I also think he lacks quickness which will make it hard for him to defend and easy to be defended.

I think what may hurt Neo in the draft is this year’s draft is much deeper than last years and bottom of the draft teams are looking at older guys like Lendeborg Haugh and international players with higher upside than Neo like Karim Lopez and Hannes Steinbach that might provide immediate value. I think Neo will do well enough in pre draft workouts to impress a team to pull the trigger on him in the first round. Also Demin has been a better pro than he was in college and I think the same will be true for Avdalas but that’s just a guess

Much less someone who was a Top 10 draft pick
This draft class IS much better...but no one is suggesting Avdalas should be picked 8th overall, either

Without the guaranteed contract would he come back to college (probably not VT) for NIL money or bet on himself. If teams are honest with him and one tells him they’re taking him great. The most reliable mock in my mind has him at 32 now. Just outside the first round. Like I said he’ll show out in combines enough to move up I believe

So being 9th (which he is) puts you in the top 3%...what are you talking about?

would know. I'll ask again.
