I hope VT is able to be patient with Dorn, and he wants to stay. Like a lot of big guys, he just needs time and experience.

But Dorn is rangier, better defender & screener. Pat didn’t play until year 3; Dorn has helped us in year 1. He helped us be in position to beat SMU vs the big Turk

Gurdak has a higher ceiling and he’s just as good now as Pat was here last year

Glad to hear Wessler is doing so well at UNCW but Gurdak is a star in the making.
I'll never forget his 17 points/19 rebounds against Virginia this season.
He really is agile for his size and has nice feet and hands. I hope we can keep him for 4 years.

I think a better comparison for Pat is Dorn.

. . . hasn't made one three this season. He plays a very traditional "5" at UNCW. His transfer was good for all concerned.
