In basketball I have heard the term "downhill player " or a player getting "downhill". Neo looked like an "uphill" player. I don't know if the young man was the injured or not. I wish him the best in his future endeavors, wherever that may be.

Strike Zone Question
I would have to think umpires know about pitch framing. It was widely advertised that Coastal's catcher is/was one of the best in the nation at it. I wonder if that played into the shrinking strike zone. Not to mention that it was advertised they practice getting hit by pitches. Seems that may have backfired a little bit. Fair amount of hit by pitch reviews.

Cub Cadet
Just bought a nice used Cub Cadet for $250. It will be the backup to our John Deere. Brother in law and his wife moving to Baton Rouge Monday and had to get rid of it. Bless them.

My wife taught him in Middle School(Ashland, VA.) and got to watch him/listen to him start his journey in Sports Broadcasting. She always said he was a great kid.

Last night
A clear catch. Are you kidding me. I don't know what you were looking at , but not a clear catch. Blame it on the ACC. The fake field goal was clearly to blame. Tech is a good team. Stuff happens to every team. No one is cursed. I used to criticize calls when I watched the games. Now I take the refs to of the equation. They are going to call what they call. So roll with it, it makes watching games much much easier on n the heart. Do the same with basketball. You will see things in the game you have not seen before. Everyone is different though. My Only thought is, Next! Thank you.

Skubal is having a great season so far. Should definitely be in the starter conversation. Main competition might be Seth Lugo(KC) who is 11-3 with a 2.21 ERA. I don't care what anyone says Tech is a NCAA Tournament team. Pitching is better than Virginia's. Bats are good, sometimes you just need one hit to fall in to set them ablaze. Good luck/skill today against Puke.
