My new toy. Got 34" for my size yard. Takes some getting used to steering.
Pushmower is relegated to trimming around fences and borders

You will love the “My Ride”
I have the 60 inch for my 2 1/2 acres. The floating seating area certainly smoothes out the ride.

Same but 54 inch. Plus I can tow my wood splitter, dethatcher, aerator, and
Cart.

Got the Cub Cadet myself last year. I'd always lived in a house with 1/4
to 1/3 acre, so mowing with a pushmower was never that big of a deal. But last year, we bought a house with about 3/4 acre. I can confidently say 3/4 acre with a pushmower sux. Mowing went from about 90 minutes of misery to you can knock out mowing the lawn while dinner is cooking. The next step is mulching/edging around all the trees and borders so the zero-turn can get everything without having to come back with a pushmower or weedeater.

Cub Cadet
Just bought a nice used Cub Cadet for $250. It will be the backup to our John Deere. Brother in law and his wife moving to Baton Rouge Monday and had to get rid of it. Bless them.

Think that's what your O's used last night to mow down the Tigs' 'pen?

For the money, might as well go for broke.
Good quality machine that should outlast me. No interest loan through Toro. Local, family owned business to service. Comparing with Lowes and The Home Depot, I bought as above. My last few mowers, leaf blowers and grass trimmers have all come from this business for their quality service.

Read that as "out of control"
It's not my Daddy's lawn tractor

Hold one at constant speed you want, steer with the other
Trying to move both to steer is not required, except at turn arounds, etc.

👍 Finding that to be true by experience.
