Well. Angel Campos certainly did his best to make that statement true.
Too bad Coastal’s pitchers saw the strike zone magically shrink from a refrigerator to a postage stamp.

I would have to think umpires know about pitch framing. It was widely advertised that Coastal's catcher is/was one of the best in the nation at it. I wonder if that played into the shrinking strike zone. Not to mention that it was advertised they practice getting hit by pitches. Seems that may have backfired a little bit. Fair amount of hit by pitch reviews.
