Dorn- you always dial them back but can’t dial them up. I want my big man to be an enforcer. We have 4 this year, I know we are trying redshirt one of them. I arrived at VT with Beamer and Frankie were both taking over teams on probation and I never remember VT with this much size, we usually are playing forwards in the 5 spot. We have 15 fouls between them and that’s something we have never had. They are all so different but I liked Wessler, he got better and tried hard but no all 3 of these guys are more developed players.

Big Pat there. Gurdak is more polished offensively, but I saw him getting lost on Defense multiple times.

Great numbers 13 a game but is he giving up20? He was kind of a defensive liability here. Maybe it was MY system

Have not really either. Except maybe Providence to be seen. Would love for him to have stayed. But I am sure he is getting way more PT than if he had stayed.

Its year 4 for him...that is about where he should be at this point

He's got a strong body and can't be moved out of his space. He pulled down 9 rebounds without jumping more than six inches off the floor. Not sure about his defense but he doesn't play like a freshman. He did very well last night.
