Not sure if this is true or not, but...
Somebody on Twitter (who is a VT and VCU fan) said that Tech tried to get Lawal to transfer last year, I guess when Byers came to Blacksburg.

I said earlier that MY was going away from shooting as the primary requirement and going to athletic. Could end up a pendulum swing too far.
This is a good example. Young resetting his system a bit. Be an interesting watch.

next year. Offensive #s may drop a little as I don’t think we will shoot as well. Offense is MY strength so be interesting to see what he cooks up.
