With the win...
Mike Young is .500 against ACC teams at VT. The highest of any coach at VT in the ACC.
Yes, even higher than that guy

Hint: It does not. Apples to oranges but yet you spew your curve fitting nonsense.

I was strictly using analytics when I made the post. CMY has played against the weakest ACC conference (by far) in his tenure. The last 3 years of CMY are 3 of the 4 weakest in the last 17 years. And, we wonder why the ACC is so disrespected.

ACC made the NCAA final 4 times and winning it three times over 5 years
During Greenberg, NCAA finals 5 times and winning it 4 times over 10 years
Young, NCAA final once, winning it none over 4 years
Sooo yeah Buzz had it harder if you look at it like that. It's easy to manipulate data for people to lazy to look that is up

Your words. I'm just trying to apply the same parameters you use in arguments of what games count or not

One team won because of forfeit, the other beat 2 Final Four teams
You're either being dumb or willfully ignorant

But not to GTs tournament or success that season
If you can't see that's changing a standard to fit a narrative the you are either willfully ignorant or dumb

Mike Young is not getting credit for any forfeited games on his record. Every win and every loss came from an actual game being played.
Georgia Tech go to the finals of the ACCT by forfeit...they didn't win that game
I hope that clears it up, but am resigned to the fact that it wont

I can't just take your word for it because you're making a statement based on feeling
In the Greenberg era, 6 ACC teams made the Final 4 over the course of 9 tournaments
For Buzz, it was 5 in 5 tournaments
For Mike Young, it has been 3 in 3 tournaments
Seems pretty even there
Only one of the three won an ACC Tournament...and did so by beating TWO Final 4 teams from the same season. So maybe your next argument will be that basketball overall is down?
It's ok to realize that Buzz wasn't the savior of the program he is painted to be. He had relatively the same amount of success as most other coaches who have come to Blacksburg. I hate that triggers you somehow, but it's ok to move on

Will, thank you once again for the Mute feature...
So we can more efficiently ignore certain people.
@GCHokie34 - keep on telling the truth. You are a beacon of light, for those who will listen to reason.
I tire of self-hating Hokies (^^^^^), who worship false gods. Y'all can just move to Texas, and do "favors" for ol' buzzy fuzzy wuzzy boy. Console him, after his weepy azz rants.
Great win today. My favorite part was the 9-0 run after GT got it down to 7, then all of a sudden it was back to 16, and that was all she wrote. We even ended the game on a +3 run, after the lead was 21. GT, much like BC, hung around, but never quite caught up.
