We have a fundamentally different strategy than the Big 12 schools

We’re trying to get into the P2, the Big 12 is comfortable where they’re at and the schools are investing in basketball because that’s where the brand is. VT is trying to rebuild football to become a more attractive financial asset when the ACC dissolves, the foundation we have is much less secure. One element to consider is the white collar alums that VT produces don’t live anywhere near the school, getting anything out of an investment is very difficult. KC is only 2 hours from Manhattan Kansas. WVU is closer to DC, Pittsburgh, and Columbus than VT is to Richmond
