Thanks CC. From a born and raised Chicago area guy I’ve seen schools like NW increase their salary base in recent years. Of course we need to consider what the B10 revenue share is vs the ACC’s, it’s night and day. I know for a fact that it’s hard for Chicago area D1 schools to recruit really good MBB talent, the exception is NW at this time. Marquette in Milwaukee does a great job drawing talent, most likely because it has a high MBB reputation and of course the HC is a big draw.
