do florida and LSU jobs really impact VT’s search?
I dont think we will be fishing out of the same pond; and while they may poach someone (i.e. Lane Kiffin) from a school that could be our competition, it seems like VT should be making an offer well before those schools are ready to carry out there searches. Either way, I think Bob Chesney looks like the best bet for VT

wouldn’t just retaining him as an associate head coach make more sense?
that said, A bowl game would be a major feet (others said pry did that but this would mean winning 6 of 9 against a really difficult slate. he’d have to beat cal, uva, wake and 1 of GT, Loisville, UM , FSU. If he does that he could be a Hc somewhere for sure next year. If he gets to 7 wins, id start to think about him seriously for vt.

Look at the nfl talent on last year’s team; Pry beat NOONE in 3 years
even if it is 1 win over a top 10 team, it blows the doors off anything pry did. Not to mention they are an errant throw frombeing 4-0, we ‘ifht be 0-4 facing there record. Elliott could easily flame out but grade those hires and Pry is easily in last place

This seems crazy to me; the player is probably doing what is in the best
interest of the program and being penalized. Let’s say this is Caleb Woodson; id love to have him for two years with a future staff and give him this year to focus on conditioning.

could players stay and redshirt?
wonder if anyone who hasn't redshirted was offered the opportunity to do so? I would have been ok with that but get why it could derail the locker room. still, it would be nice to keep talent until the new hire is here, its not like they cant transfer at the end of the year.

Mines on that list as well? I think we thought we struck gold with him, but the WRs have consistently underperformed and he was offered significant bumps. not sure that was the best choice

i heard it mentioned on the broadcast, i saw tsl posts and the story today
I guess i was hoping this would be picked up by RTD pr the roanoke times or ESPN. But I didnt see anything from those outlets other than an announcer mentioning during a VT Wofford game which noone (except us) was watching.
