I'm a little annoyed at my college student for not working as much as
possible. I don't begrudge taking SOME time off, but so far the time off is > days worked. That will change before summer is over, but IMO you're supposed to earn money in the summer.

Don't necessarily limit yourself to near Union Station. The DC Metro runs
through Union Station as well, so a subway ride a few stations away wouldn't be a burden and could get you a better hotel and/or better price.

Referring back to an article I read. Many schools are trying to make price
imply quality....but then give big discounts as 'scholarships'. IE, almost EVERYONE who gets in qualifies for a scholarship that take 35 to 50% off of the 'list price'.
They don't package it that way, and they do make it sound like "You're smart! You earned it!", but it's the approach a lot seem to take.

Well, the 2 games I watched that were from Mexico didn't do that. It was
the game in LA, where you can kinda understand why.

Is Paraguay THAT bad? Or, at least, is their Defense THAT bad? In a pro
level game, I've never seen so many through balls to an open guy in the box. And many of those through balls were followed up by multiple passes to another and another guy in the box.
And I know that many teams specialize in counter attacking and really don't care if they lose the possession battle 65/35 or something like that, but when they showed that stat at one point, it was 79/21 US. That's insane.

The opposite. I can't link the studies, but I've seen a lot of articles
stating that all data says now is a LOT more safe for kids from child predators, overall danger, etc. than it was in the 70's / 80's, but the PERCEPTION that today is more dangerous is very strong.
Now cite that whole "perception is reality" thing.....

I saw that in the theatre as well, but certainly not on its' original
release. I had no understanding of racism at that age. I just knew that the Brer Rabbit stories were pretty fun.

Almost certainly some Disney re-issue. Back then, classic animated Disney
movies were re-released in the theater every 7 years or something like that.
First PG movie was some underwater semi adventure not necessarily Disney movie. I only remember it because my parents spent a long time discussing if my sister and I were old enough to go to a PG movie.

I saw that movie at the Lyric during pre freshman summer orientation.
But I have NO idea what the last movie I saw there was. Considering how often I saw "The Wall", "A Clockwork Orange" and "Monty Pyton & The Holy Grail", it was probably one of those.
