For me it's because it's one of the few sports left here that hasn't been
spolied by the NIL and portal mercenary element. There's still the feel and sense of a real Team to pull for. And Coach Pete has built a consistently strong program that not only comptes at a high level but stays classy and humble. The players he's recruited make it easy to pull for them. Sure, I'll watch the football team this year and next but I don't get excited about it any longer since the mercenary aspect infected the program. There's something about watching players develop and learning about them over a 3 to 4 year period that builds a personal investment and draws me closer to the program. Our softball program fills that void for me now. I'm just not into rooting for teams with a high player turnover rate. As far as I'm concerned the football jerseys shouldn't bother to have names on the back but the softball jerseys should!

Celebrating is fine. But don't need to flash throwing dollars bills,
or singing those silly HS chants, etc. I like how our girls act.

I think @)laphroaig said Bre was joining Cori to play with Jalisco in the
Mexican softball league after PSL play. That ought to be fun follow (as best it can be followed here).
