First kick hit the bottom of the ball
Second one looked like he tried to make an adjustment and planted too close to the ball

Targeting. Can't have been on the tackle
I'm wondering if it was on one of the pass rushers somehow?

Zero pass rush
He's not even getting pressured
EDIT: I spoke too soon

Yes, there are two schemes that use 2 QB's
One is the Funroe offense, which looks like a traditional offense with a running QB filling in where a RB would go (allowing for throws after a handoff).
The other is the A-11, which features 2 QB's, a center, 2 TE's, and 6 WR's. Everyone on the field wears a number that makes them eligible to receive a pass. It uses the scrimmage kick exception (originally intended for punt formations) to get away with having no real OL. Everyone lines up of the line of scrimmage, then one second before the snap, 7 players (different every play) step up to the line of scrimmage and come set. That means you get multiple WR's who aren't eligible, causing chaos in the defensive backfield.
The A-11 is banned everywhere except college football, where it's allowed whenever a punt might reasonably be attempted. I'm surprised it isn't used more

You think it's overreacting that people are disappointed?
This is a bad football team for yet another year. VT hasn't beaten a P5 team OOC in 6 years. Last year the team looked completely incompetent, but everyone gave Pry a pass because he was new and the roster was awful. A whole lot of fans were hopeful that with a 5th year senior QB things would finally get better. But based on what we've seen so far, this is likely another 3-4 win team. Most of us haven't ever seen VT football this bad, particularly for this long, at a time when conference realignment is making things very precarious for those without good football teams.
I'm starting to think that it's just not realistic for VT to ever really be good at football again. The inherent disadvantages (remote location, worst ratio of donors to alums, NIL, etc.) are just too much to overcome. I think that in 15 years VT will be locked outside a top-level conference, primarily because football is bad

Joker
Great movie, but as someone who has family who deal with mental illness I'd rather not watch it again. Once was enough

As a VT alum and lifelong Bears fan, I think I'm going to get lots of yard
stuff done this fall. Maybe next year

The preliminary studies show the softer helmets are better
at preventing concussions. I can't be bothered to look it up though

No, it runs on the same mechanism as the Range Game in Price is Right
Once they stop it they can't start it up again for 37 hours

So at this point, this has to be the longest game in VT history

They are waiting for the next line of storms so they can delay again
Good thinking considering how this game was going. Another delay later and they'll be able to cancel

On the plus side, this team looks better than last year
On the minutes side, they don't look that much better

I fully expect a 2-score Purdue win, minimum
I'm expecting Purdue to run all over the defense, and if the O couldn't get going against ODU, they won't do it against Purdue

Looked like they sold out to stop the run and dared Wells to beat them
Which he eventually did.

They're operating in the belief they will get into SEC or B1G
They think the SEC will pick them up to keep B1G out of the south

I've been checking out their boards the last couple weeks
Cal and Stanford are relieved to have a safe landing spot. SMU is thrilled to be back at the adults' table again

At 262 miles away, SMU is closer to the Atlantic Coast than Louisville
which is over twice as far away
