I can't get anything from ESPN to work here in Africa. I travel for work internationally and have a house in Florida. I pay for internet, cable, and some streaming services. I can get some of the streaming services to work with a couple of vpns but not all. ESPN is the worst one for me.

he took 10-15 of his dorm mates from Pritchard last night. they were pumped. they sent me some videos on whatsapp. That was how I found out they had won. We are +6 right now on time so I couldn't stay up. Also a few old forester (1910 barrel row) old fashioned tired me out). i work with his mother and father overseas (and him when he is here on breaks) and he is a freshman at Tech this year. We also all play darts together. he said it was the most exciting sporting event he has been to at Tech. He worked most of the football games selling sodas since he is on the rugby team and needs to save some money. He doesn't know much about baseball or softball but I hope to get him to a few games of that too...and womens bball and men's ball also.

Peach Bowl. I thought it would be every year. I had season tickets in 90, and 92-2002 (though I stopped going in 99 when I moved overseas. I missed 91 because of a girl... ugh. moved to Illinois and texas. I'm patient.

fuente is gone. cornelson is gone. there were complaints about their coaching, their recruiting, the talent level on the team, everything...heck if fuente had a pet people would complain it was the wrong kind (dog v cat) or wrong breed or not a rescue. so, the coaching staff changed and the level of the players left behind...have stayed the same. the same players that the TSL podcast pointed out weren't getting developed for three plus years under the previous staff. Did you expect players who hadn't developed to learn a new scheme and improve in less than a year? Did you expect this coaching staff to succeed by putting freshman out there and winning? The expectations that a new coach would come in after what so many people said has been done to the program by the previous regine. I don't understand the sky high expectations. I'm not saying to give them a pass but anyone expecting a total turnaround in this time frame is smoking something serious. 1987- one year from the Peach Bowl. A new coach came in and based on these expectations should have been run out of town. L v Clemson L at UVA L v SU W vs Navy (only 35000 on hand in the Burg and it was a nice day...I missed it because I had forest fire fighter training) L at South Carolina L v ECU L at Tulane (that was a rough one) L at Kentucky - that was a boring one L at WVU L at Miami W v Cincinatti in front of 10000 in what was the most miserable and cold I have ever been at a Tech game. I remember eating a crusty's pizza afterwards in EAJ. It took a long time to thaw from that one. If you follow any former players on twitter. They kept talking about the culture of the previous staff and how many of them didn't 'fit' and that is why we were having problems. This staff is more of a fit for the culture that we need to be successful. I don't know if he will or won't but wanting to pull the plug less than a year in never ends well and if that is what you want then pony up. I also don't know how many coaches would want to be here. I saw it written somewhere that the first two choices went elsewhere. end rant. I'm going to enjoy some Tedeschi Trucks Band I am the Moon today...all four on a playlist played very loudly while I smoke a few chickens on when WSM and sip a little Old Forester (1920 or 1897 preferably) at some point.

I don't think or follow players that left. Nothing against them. They went somewhere else which made them happier. Good for them. They didn't want to be Hokies anymore. Do I wish things had been different and worked out? Maybe but I can't go back in time and fix it. Those coaches are gone. I'm going to devote my energy to those that are here and end up here in the future.

Miami metro- over 6 million potential viewers seattle metro- just over 4. I lived in South Florida and while there were a lot of FSU and UF fans...there were a lot of people who followed and watched the Canes. Didn't mean they all went to the games but they definitely knew what was going on.

I have two of them. A 14 in and the 18 in. Honestly you don't need the 22. Whichever smoker you go with... get a temp setup. Get a remote for the meat and grill combo. There are a bunch out there. Getting the temp at the grill where the meat is (rather than the top of the dome) is important. I am not a fan of pellet smokers and other electric ones. I have known a few people who had them and they caught on fire because the auger got stopped up and the fire spread up to the hopper. If you do decide to get one of them- keep the auger and feeder clean. Also, some pellets are better than others. Some are mostly filler and glue and some are almost all wood. I don't know which ones are which since I only use chunks (anything but mesquite, love hickory/pecan/apple/cherry).

Covid test came back negative and I will be wearing a Tech hat all the way to Gainesville Regional Airport. We bought a house there last summer (couldn't get one in Orlando...just constantly outbid). I am heading home for a break from work...and Nigeria. I'll be wearing the hat and/or a Tech t-shirt all weekend. My son just finished his masters from UF in Biomedical Engineering. He told me he is rooting for Tech. I asked him what his fellow Gator grad girlfriend felt about that. He told her he is rooting for the Gators. He said he roots for Tech in everything even against UF except basketball and football.

If Tech had lost I would have gone to see UK@UF in the supers. Since Tech won... I will watch on TV...if that is possible. I will have to see if UF hosts any baseball tournament games while I am back in the US.

to root for UF. My son just got his BS and MS from there and I bought a house there last summer. I am heading out from Africa this week for four weeks of vacation at home and Colorado (other son graduation from U of Denver). Guess I will have to wear my Tech stuff and just watch at home. PS- I hate Kentucky...so I would have been pulling for the Gators.

they hit rochard yesterday. emma has pitched well. in softball you can take your starting pitcher out...and put them back in later on. he must feel more comfortable with emma pitching than keely for a reason he knows more than us. he will be questioned if it doesn't work out.

as I am not as familiar with softball rules. but...that sort of makes sense. also, the coach is paid money for these decisions. I'll let him make them and just find out why later.

working for the USG in Africa. I can find a site to 'stream' ESPN, 2, and others. I have a VPN, I pay for a TV service in the US at my house in Florida...and I can't get the plus stuff to work. I have more trouble with ESPN than any other service. They always want my 'location' enabled...even though my VPN says wherever in the US I point it. As soon as I turn that on...it see Lagos Nigeria and I get errors. I have worked with multiple VPN providers and ESPN is the one we just can't get. If they would let me...I'd pay for this...again. But, no one will let you do it.

They said the UK pitcher was throwing illegal pitches if you follow the rule. they are not acting like Emma was the only one. They have mentioned multiple times that it is the rule and they are confused as to why one is being called and one not. they have said that the rule is the issue. They showed a graphic of two pitches by Lemley where one was called and one wasn't... and they both were illegal if you follow the exact rule. this is the first softball game I have watched this year (I live overseas and have to 'stream') and I had no idea what the rule was, why it was being called, or anything else... and I know now.

He and my mother in law had just retired and moved to their dream house in vegas about two years prior.

Hope it leads to something. My wife has had cysts on her pancreas and they do a biopsy and measurements every year just in case. So far...so good.
