How is the outdoor track program doing? Haven’t seen or heard much.

Unlikely to score in sprints, hurdles, relays, distance, high/long jump or heptathalon; Should score a few points in 800m & steeple. ACC seed in Hammer= 2 & 4; Discus=4; Shot=3; Triple Jump=4. Pole Vault seed = 2 & 4, but Rachel Baxter (indoor national champ) is a gamer & should win. It's possible a new relay combo or 1st of the season run (Malikova in 400m) could score, but even with a healthy Lindsey Butler (800m indoor nat’l champ) & Victoria Gorlova (Long/Triple Jump), VT's women would not be in ACC championship contention.

Has Malikova also been injured? Seems like some tough luck for the team

Men can score points in most events, but lack sure-fire champions and may not have depth to compete in full complement of events since all finals are on same day. VT will not score points in hurdles, 800m, 10K, discus or javelin; but should have multiple scorers in 100m, 200m, 400m, PV & Decathlon. Can possibly have multiple scorers in steeple & high jump. Relays (4x100, 4x400) can score good points, but VT relies on same runners to compete in both relays & multiple events so the best combo's may not compete or be at their best in relays. For VT to win championship, everyone must perform at their absolute best and FSU's athletes must finish below their seed in multiple events either due to poor performance or other competitors finishing ahead of FSU. Every point will be critical, so any finish above/below seed will be magnified. FSU does not appear as strong as previous years; is ranked below VT in a key poll & Cianelli is a master at preparing the line-up to win ACC Championships.

and there have been more than a few PRs and seasons best.
Realistically I would like to 'win' but I try and follow when I see personal records. That tells me they are working hard (and smart) and improving.
A lot of the meets seem to focus on individual events vs teams. I see a few '2nd among college/4th among college' results.
I created a Hokie Sports list on twitter that only follows the official twitter account for all tech sports and athletics. Separates it out of the feed and brings it up at a glance.

She was NCAA champ in the 800m, but has a foot injury and is skipping the outdoor season to rehab. Our women's team's NCAA placement will depend upon pole vault, throws, and long and triple jumps.
