Mineo has a post on fakebook about Seidel
It goes in to great detail of his match dominance
Specifically, he is averaging 37 seconds less time on the mat than Messenbrink and that’s crazy impressive!!! He didn’t make P4P last ranking but I don’t see how he doesn’t make next ranking update
Go Hokies and congrats AS!

He's gotta win in March first.

Obviously, Seidel continuing to win is most important.

What Seidel is doing is absolutely unreal, but I get waiting to rank him p4p. He's lost to all the other super freshmen at his weight in the past year. Let's see if his dominance over all these really good wrestlers can translate into wins against the elite wrestlers. It doesn't necessarily matter that he's better on top than Blaze and Davino in those matchups if he can't turn them. I can't wait to see him try though. And the amount of points he puts up makes him less prone to an upset on his way to those big matchups.

He's gotten so much better in scrambling situations and on his feet in general over the past year or so I think he can compete with those guys in a one TD match. Also I don't think people will go underneath so the 1-0 victory is in play. Forrest would be the toughest with his output IMO - you can't really gameplan him you just have to be better than him for a full 7 mins.

I think he had multiple avenues to a win. 1-0 if they take neutral, 2-0 or 2-1 with a riding point, blow the whole thing open with some back points, or even win from neutral. My point was more than him being more dominant over common opponents doesn't necessarily mean he's the best of the bunch.

That doesn't always translate but it is a good sign

Also agree dudes will be hesitant to go underneath him with the hopes of getting a one point escape to instead likely be turned at least once for four points.
It’s a shame we may not get to see him scrap with Forrest before nationals. Their match in high school was a barn burner but both have leveled jumped since then and it’s large irrelevant at the college level now.

yet in my opinion, but boy do I like to watch what he does on the mat.
I just wanted to point out someone who has not done it in March is on the list.

And has a similar p4p quality win over Hardy. Agree with your points. Seidel would be ranked p4p if he had the wins to justify it. For him, he won't get that opportunity until March.

And he beat Caliendo (Iowa bias). Flo caters to the big fan bases. Only way an ACC guy gets ranked in the p4p is after march.

Flo just caters to the big fan bases to keep them paying.
