Caleb redshirting this season obviously changed the calculus for this year. If anything, I'd think this team has overperformed expectations with 3 freshman playing big roles. Have we had a recent season where we started three transfers? I know we had McGonagle and Wolak last year. Did the staff expect Hipolito and Stewart to transfer out after last season? We knew 174 was going to be a need but curious if we were scrambling in the transfer portal at 157/184. I think there was also the expectation that this was going to be the year Gage Wright stepped into 184.

We targeted Miller and Dean pretty quickly for the 157 and 184 spots. Unfortunately missed on Dean. I think TJ and Raf are crazy talented and fun to watch, but we definitely have the talent coming in at 157 to replace Raf. We're obviously going to try to make some moves in the portal at 184 this offseason.

where the expectations were at the start when Caleb went into redshirt. We have had some nice surprises and some mild disappointments, but we can't complain about where this team is at the moment. The future is VERY bright and it's going to be a fun ride.
