Visited over the weekend. Divine Bourrage (5th overall) has a visit set for September 21st. So VT has a legitimate shot at 3 top 15 players. And there’s a bunch more inside the top 100 that VT still has a shot with. The 2025 class is looking like it will be very strong, could be the best VT has ever had. Even if they were to add no one else, the class would prob still finish as a top 25 class, but if we land one of the 5 stars, it’ll make for a clear top 10 class, and could be program changing. were the first 2 schools to offer back in 2021 when she was just a baby (LOL). She already has a ridiculous number of offers (over 50), and she hasn't even started her Sr year yet. I'm guessing she'll get another 20+ offers during her Sr year. Don't think VT having the #82 and #85 recruits would be top 25 recruiting class. If we get a top 50 recruit, possibly be in the top 25 class. If we get 1 or 2 of the top 10 recruits, that would be a miracle and be VT's best class in the history of VT WBB. If Coach D can get commitments from the #5 and #6 recruits in her 1st year, our family will increase our donations to WBB. Cross our fingers... ** Edited by carhokies at 6/25/2024, 5:35:49 PM

Would be slightly outside that if we got no one else depending on the other classes, but VT will get more recruits. It will not be a miracle if VT lands a 5 star, VT actually practically did it last class with Silva (she would have been a top 10 recruit if she was in the US), and the only reason we lost her was cause Brooks left. VT WBB has become a national brand, and the reason (along with the coaching staff) why VT has many highly touted prospects considering joining the program.

top 10 recruits, specifically if she lands the #5 and #6 recruits, it would be a miracle for a 1st year coach at VT. We are not Uconn, ND, SC, LSU, Stanford, etc, who have won championships and can land multiple top 10 recruits. That has never been done at VT, land the #5 and #6 recruits in the same class. That would be a major shock, a miracle, and we would all love to see it happen. But I don't see it happening, landing #5 and #6 recruits in Coach D's 1st year. But we do have a bright future with Coach D at the helm.

releasing her top schools list tomorrow. Attends Crestwood Prep HS in Toronto. She reminds me of former Tech player Kerri Gardin from a playing style standpoint.
