I am sorry but this lackadaisical finish with no edge or grit ruined
a great season for me. Yes we got screwed with the matchup, but we still had the talent to win and we literally looked like we forgot how to do some of the basics in this game and lost focus. I will never understand why we played the defense we did against a three point shooting team. Really hate that this has to be a learning experience. Ruined a great year for this team. Still accomplished a lot but failed on the ultimate goal. I feel bad for Sheppard who deserved a better exit.

Give the other team credit. It's not like they were not just there and we
just lost.

Absolutely give FGCU the credit. They could have beaten most anybody today.
If you'd told me before the game that we'd score 81 points and lose, I would have doubted you. I knew FGCU could shoot lights out, but I thought our Defense would step up today. We did not defend the 3 ball well, at all. But again, give the opponent credit. They know how to get open looks.

Yep and I thought I read they had a player who will be drafted in the
Upcoming WNBA draft. So that’s pretty impressive. Not sure if Kitley is even interested in the WNBA and with her plans for medical school?

I bet Maryland beats them. They will not let them get that many open threes
off their defense. I honestly hope Maryland wins. FGCU left a bad taste in my mouth. Yeah I am a little sour right now.
