I hope that Pete does an in-depth study…
Of the players, the coaches, and himself during the off season. I’m not sure what needs to change, but something does. Our playoff record is stuck on underperforming. Next year’s team should be strong, but the underperforming needs to change or it will be more of the same.

. . . Pete is doing as well as anyone in the country given the conference he's in and the school where he coaches. I'm often critical, but that's my 'We can always be better, and here's how" mentality. VT is essentially a cold weather softball school with the fourth best facility in the state. Even in the ACC there are several better, warmer jobs. We're fortunate that Missouri and Kentucky don't appear to opening this year as I see both as possible suitors for Pete.

Year? Or is it just the softball team that deserves your sage advice?

Last 4 years, 0-7 against the regional host. Maybe that is who VT is going to be. Hope not but maybe.

runner up in both. It does appear to be who we are and regional host are just above our level right now.

be overmatched. This year we were definite favorites to win the regional. Pete just underperforms compared to expectations each year.

And we were ‘ definitive favorites’ to win the regional? By going 10-0 against the SEC (On the year) At THEIR HOME FIELDS? You expected all that?
