Bottomline does VT host a softball regional now?

But the silver lining is that we should be seeded between 17 and 21 so we’ll be sent somewhere that we should have a good chance of advancing.
One pitch at a time.

hosted by the 12 seed and should we win, probably play the 5 seed??? I like those chances better than being a 17 seed, playing the 16 seeded host, winning, and then having to play the #1 seed.

Not advance.

and not staying as a team in a hotel. I know, it sounds strange.

good softball team, and coach is 100% behind the long ball, & if that can't happen and the team is against a lock pitcher then it could be a long day. IE just like today

beat by a much lower seed in the Super Regional. And in 2021 we didn’t host and upset the host team. So, I am not sure how much home field helps. It’s great for the school and the fans. Does it give us an advantage? Not sure.

the distractions. And he has more control over the team.
So, there’s some merit in that assessment.

Generally, convention is that the 17th-20th ranked teams are generally paired against national seeds 13-16, right?
