did well, but set no records, and allowed 2 runs. She did fine, but certainly nothing like Michelle's performance.

needed Avery to shut them down…and that she did. Great win.

But I would argue Chatfield scoring gave Avery confidence and kept her head in the game.
Still there was a good pitching job once she settled down and she made a lot of smart pitches.. Obviously, when you have a chance to end the gameyou end the game, but I would like to have seen her pitch out innings six and seven.

Three different pitchers right? Boom boom boom. They just quit. Even down five runs They were bunting to advance a base runner. Screw the score. Just try to get something done.
The funny thing is before the run rule home run. I was thinking about pitcher number five or six whatever it was just thinking “I’ll just lay this over the plate and get it over with. And darned if that’s not what happened.

But its hard to argue with 3 home runs.,the first of them was a grand slam, which pretty much opened the flood gates
