Dang, Sanford spends $50 million on a new stadium, the botches the opening
They held the grand opening of the stadium, but didn't obtain the proper permits and had to scramble to relocated last weekend's tournament that they hosted.
Oops.
"As it turns out, Stanford did not have the proper permits to actually use the stadium. Specifically, the university did not obtain a “temporary occupancy permit” from the county before opening up the venue — a surprising oversight given the money invested in the new facility, and the fact that the stadium just held a full slate of weekend games. To make matters worse, Stanford has had to relocate a scheduled tournament as a result of this snafu, the university announced."

facility nice like that for our ladies. While we have great indoor and support facilities, the look, the size, and age of TSP just makes us look poor. Our ladies deserve a nice, comfortable and large stadium to play in. Maybe one day...

Just concrete stairs but maybe building permits had not yet been invented? Or maybe no permits required on school property???

Years ago I sat beside a Stanford grad on a plane from SFO-ATL…. The entire trip was nauseating because of her “ everyone who went to Stanford is smarter” bs the entire lane ride…
