But trying to be more complimentary in a way. We knew Trinity could hit. Pete knows it and she’s obviously shown signs in practice if he keeps putting her out there. Maybe she needed to see 2 ABs today instead of just coming in cold as a PH
I’d be interested to see her PH for Lyla early like today, get 2 plate appearances play field for 2-3 innings then have Lyla re-enter for defense later in games

however, while that might be best for Trinity it might not be best or fair for Lyla's development or the team That is the challenge and harsh reality of coaching and sports to balance the objectives and keep all the balls in the air for the team and individual players. Same type decision was staring Pete in the face with Sophie's rough start but, he had the good fortune to be staked to an early four run lead.
