I’ve had a note from Will when he’s felt it’s too much, but he also appreciates my passion and where I’m coming from. But as I said, I’ll try to do better. Maybe I’ll just limit myself to one simple RM statement like “oh well it’s not our day” as I may often do early on. And then that’s it for in game. Baby steps Lol just didn’t proofread the first post and now see “abuse” autocorrected to “babies” TFRT. It kinda works 😂

My only issue is too much of it is you putting your thoughts on the players. "They have no confidence", "they don't want to win". Stuff like that. you have no idea what is in their head. You can't sit and watch from afar and say the players have no confidence or don't want to win simply because they made mistakes or didn't hit or are not screaming in the dugout. Yes, you are negative. Passion isn't an excuse for negativity. I defend what can be perceived as negative posts because MANY are actually accurate in real time. When a team is not hitting at all, popping up, etc... it is accurate to say that our bats are likely preventing a win. It isn't just a negative post. In addition, though it is also realistic for people to acknowledge that when you are down late in a game, the odds are against the offense. Anything can happen at any point but it isn't being a negative nancy when you see a trend that predicts something. Breaking out of a trend is more so the exception. So the main thing I ask is be balanced, don't be hot and cold where you go from the batters suck to "yeah, we have a lead" and don't transpose what you are thinking on them. I am sure Slaw, Peck, Ritter, etc had confidence in themselves and the team. If not, we still don't have any proof that allows us to make that observation.

The pressure of wanting to win so much sometimes is an issue. I know that was true on a couple teams I played on

No I didn’t give up (shh 🤫 RM) & yes I’m sorry some hate it but it’s my own crazy as I’ve stated before You won’t see it from me on the board in game today because I’ll be there cheering like crazy in person. And of course I’m positive for them in TSP, here I try to be careful & not be personal vs any one player’s mistakes. Posting matter of factly that top of our order has disappeared I hope doesn’t come across as personal; those 3 ladies have put us in our home park for postseason from what they did all year. Slumps happen BUT they also end; Our best softball is in there somewhere, hoping it comes out today. Again yesterday’s UK game; not their fault; let’s see if they exorcise that crazy curse today. It’d be glorious. Something tells me they have the character, fight & toughness to pull through. Sometimes there’s a point or a stretch that a championship team has to overcome what seem to be long odds. Really hoping today is the day, that moment. If it’s not I’ll be disappointed but ultimately more for them than me as a fan. Today should be the day we remember Mac Lawter being a hero last night, maybe again today AND I really want hers & Keely’s & Darby’s last games at TSP to be spent celebrating advancing to OKC NEXT weekend not in tears today Let’s Go win 2!!

I’ll try to do better. Today it’s GO HOKIES! And seriously I do LOVE this team, I’ll never be truly down on THEM or their effort. I know they’re doing their best; maybe trying too hard. I know this; I love watching them so much, selfishly I really don’t want this to end, BUT most importantly as I’ve said, Mac, Darby, Keely deserve their moment on that field to be going off as winning a regional then a Super. It may not happen but I sincerely appreciate all they’ve given us, it’s been a fun ride

The Hokies have had a magical year. They need to grab every last ounce of energy and win two more. Let’s cheer the players, coaches and fans to make history in TSP today.
