interesting...Emma no walks, but a couple homers...
Can one of you pitching experts tell me what that means?

Wind - not the friend of any pitchers today.

We have a girl in our conference who throws 70 mph
She is going into the 12th grade and is a 2X National Player of the Year. She is dominate but gives up a lot of HRs because better players are smart enough to take her opposite field and with the speed of the pitch and their own exit velocity, balls will go out.

My 10th grader gets measured on her exit velocity each week
They tell her that a D1 player is around 72-74 in terms of exit velocity.
Couple that with a 70 mph fastball and 220-230 fences, and balls will leave the yard.

Caught too much of the plate with a lot of their pitches. Good teams will make you pay. Just my opinion fwiw🌞

It was called evenly, helped us too by them not giving the OkSt pitcher the low strikes too

Throwing strikes and challenging hitters?
That would be my guess, but I'm no expert.

which forces pitchers to throw the ball more toward the center of the plate which results in more hits or contact.
