What other sport can one do well but with bad results? i.e. hit the ball often and/or hard but if its right to a defender then it's an out. GT had luck on their side and hit the gaps and over the fence. Me thinks coach was saving our ace pitcher for FSU which may have been a bad idea in hindsight. But we did beat GT in all our in-season games. (Anyone else hate single-elimination tournaments like me?) When Lemley did pitch she tried to overwhelm them with speed and they were ready. She needs to work on off-speed pitches ala GT that had us on our heels all night. And again, GT was VERY motivated and go momentum early and kept it going.
