I am not going to argue whether VT should have hosted or not, that is another story. IMHO, Alabama was the weakest seeded team available for VT and VT's draw could have been much tougher like going to UCLA last year. VT had every opportunity to win both games this weekend but were unable to get any real hitting accomplished with RISP. That was the difference. VT pitched well enough to win but did not hit when it was needed. Alabama was not hot coming into the tournament and were very beatable.
