Good hitters are able to narrow down what they are looking for effectively
and when a pitcher doesn't have anything moving down and/or away for a righty or in for a lefty as well as no fear of change of speed, this makes the pitch selection that much easier for them. Emma has a rise, low rise, and fastball. I have seen her try to throw a curve but it just doesn't move much. A disciplined hitter can lay off the high rise and focus on balls coming out of the tunnel lower.
