. . . . she does not have great movement. More than most #1's she depends on velocity and location, mostly above the waist. She seems to have gotten better down but it's not a true drop but a fairly straight down fastball. This is not something that's going change much this far into her career. Her only true deception is to change speeds, however, she's never committed to that. You rarely, if ever, see a batter completely fooled. Hence, good hitters are able to stay alive against her by fouling off what they don't like. 'Bama's hitters are mostly 4-star level kids. Eventually they will time-up someone whose velocity does not vary much. Then, if there's not much break, bad things happen for that pitcher.
