I'm no softball coach or expert, but...

...it did seem that Alabama figured her out by the end of the first game. First 3 innings: 6 strikeouts 4 balls in play, all hit to 3b (2 groundouts, 1 error, 1 sac bunt) Inning 4: Foul out to LF (first ball to leave the infield) Ground out to 1B Popup to SS Inning 5: Ground out to 2B Fly out to RF Double to LF (first hit, third ball out of the infield) Pop up to 2B Inning 6: Single to 1B Error by 2B Single to RF Flyout to LF Flyout to LF Inning 7: Ground out to 2B Single to LF Single to LF Fly out to LF Fly out to LF (diving catch) Summary: 6 strikeouts in the first 3 innings. 0 strikeouts in the last 4. 0 balls hit to the outfield in the first 3 innings. 10 in the last 4. Either Lemley suddenly lost her stuff after 3 innings, or they figured something out.
