Expect tweets (x's) like this from so-called "experts"...
until the FSU-ACC case is decided by the courts.
I read some of the comments from that post and most of those responding have little or no knowledge of the ACC or college football in general. There seems to be four camps in this. The overly smug fans from the SEC and Big 18 who desire to pick the last of the good fruit from the last untouched non-Power 2 conference, the Big 12 fans who want to see the ACC implode so they can be the solid #3 D-1 football conference (but still light years away from the P-2 money) and the ACC fans who have to live through this crap for the foreseeable future.
At this point, Virginia Tech should only allow their Corps of Cadets to play football so they can be like the 3 other service academies and play D-1 football the way it's suppose to be played. ;)

Not unless there are serious assurances that the mag 7 have landing spots in the P2. Why would they expend funds and political capital on a legal battle against their own conference? Moreover, why would they vote to add Cal, Stanford, and SMU, making it tougher to leave and increasing the payouts to incentivize them to stay?

It would be stupid to jump in now. Schools can observe what happens for now.
