That involve the remote possibilities where you get the needed votes to benefit the top schools while leaving the bottom ones hung out to dry.
Not sure what we will discuss here now. Always something, right? I suppose scheduling will be a big one. How the financials will shake out. GOR challenging will probably resurface next year.

a sad day for a conference we once celebrated getting into.
I don't see how VT or any other member school could have voted for this with a straight face.
Must be pretty dire to have to do this.
For once, I side with UNC.
Gone are the giddy days of 2004. This is the beginning of the end for this league, sorry to say.

Say what you want, but no one already in the ACC in their right mind celebrates this. And SMU? what a joke...

but that is out of the window now. Too many terrible fanbases now stretched to freakin Cali. B12 is positioned much better esp. with any ACC loses.
Yes, I know the landscape will likely change prior to then.

Look very good as an option, and better than the ACC. In that situation, the Big 12 would clearly become the number three conference ahead of the ACC.

I know you are opposed to the 6th game but ND lobbied so hard for this expansion, they should put their money where their mouth is.

If not, then we once again gave ND what it wanted with nothing in return. Actually less than nothing, since individual ACC schools will play them less often.
