My favorite crazy plan is for the SEC to take only VT and UNC, and the B1G to take the rest of the MAG7 + GT. The SEC gets two nice new states and the B10 gets five big ones down the East Coast.

along with the idiot from the Greenville News link last night of how bad things have gotten in the news media. Honestly, if there are actually any editors reviewing these stories they may be worse than the idiot writers. Even clickbait ain't what it used to be these days.

SEC and UVA, but not Stanford, "moving the football needle" were probably added to avoid charges of plagiarism.

If the SEC decided to get large enough - like to 20 and the B1G had already snatched up the likes of UNC, Clemson, FSU, UVA, et al, then adding Pitt along with VT, WVU and NC State to pick up those markets for the SEC Network might be a possibility. That might open some additional recruiting inroads to PA.

you have to watch the sources. Thank you a UT plant.
VT as an institution is really down on the Big 12.. From the BOV and President. and VT is not operated like FSU its strategic and thoughtful, and deliberate. We will rather rebuild the ACC than a choice of the 'wild wild texas culture of the Big 12

rebuilt, and regionally to boot. Not sure I see a pathway for that, but the way things are going, it appears nothing is off the table.
Cuse, Pitt, VT, NC State, maybe even BC to the B12 would be what I want, but that is from a fans perspective, not a prediction.

And to suggest that Pitt goes in the SEC over VT, will certainly protect the large geography of recruiting for the vols
